Portable Water Closet (PWC) was founded in 2011 by St. Louis native, Kate Barcom. Kate’s background in interior design put her in the unique position to take the portable sanitation industry to the next level. After some thoughtful discussions with key mentors in the design field and waste industry, she knew she wanted to take on the task of improving the experience of the necessity of portable sanitation.

Over the next ten plus years, along with the PWC amazing team, the company grew to a prominent name in St. Louis porta potty rentals. PWC has served clients throughout the St. Louis metro region, (affectionately known as ‘The Lou’ to locals like us), including Wildwood, Clayton, Chesterfield, St. Peters, Maplewood, Kirkwood, and Sunset Hills.

In 2022, Katie decided it was time to step away to pursue other ventures and prioritize her young children. She sold PWC to another local family. Doug Marshall, with the same trusted PWC staff by his side, has taken the reigns to grow the company even further. We look forward to providing the same quality service you have come to expect and earn new business in the special event and construction markets.
